Truely can't remember any of the details - it was a long time ago and a lot of things have happened since. . Gulf war, 3 kids, Bosnia, numerous moves, coming out and a divorce!! Ex sis-in-law just told me how much she got paid after 3months of contributions, 10 years ago so it definitely worth chasing up.
This is another company I will contact and thankyou!

How about a bank statement if you have been paying for 20 years. Check on there for a Direct Debit?

P.S ABACUS were in Sennelager at the time.

Only kept it going while ex was in the Gulf - we got posted back to UK and I lost all say in the finances department having no job!! Common scenerio back then. . . . .

Jenn, I was in soest with the aac then and I do remember Andrew Peat as a company were really pushing insurance then and Yes I remember the guy you are talking about and feel pretty certain that he DID work for them!!

Get in touch with them at andrew peat GMBH (google it as I cant post links!) with your address in Hartweg and when you were there I`m sure they will have you on record, but remember you may have been dealing with a UK firm but a German broker so may have a bit of a chase on your hands.

Cheers Paul - I have contacted Andrew Peat and am waiting to hear from them. They were strange and exciting times!! I was newly-wed, enjoying working in the Naafi and spending too much time playing 'shock' in Charlie's bar!! Then it got real!
