Really long shot!!!

Options
this is a really long shot but is there anyone out there who was serving in Soest in 1991 just prior to Op Granby who can remember, or bought an endowment policy.
My ex and I started one at the the time but it lapsed. We divorced 10 years ago and it was only recently that I remembered about it.
I cannot remember the company and 20 years on don't have any paperwork.
We lived at Hartweg and the guy in question had several refferals in our block alone.
One life.

  • Stick with it, its not very busy in this part of the forum.

If its RAF based then try PPRUNE or Egoat, both can be found through google.

Probably more of a chance than in here.

Thanx - it was a really nice black guy - ex-army I think - working for a private company! Got some good advice on another board but it would really help if I could remember the company!! Might be a nice sum after nearly 20 years!!!

  • Being Soest I presume you or your Ex were in the Army. You might want to try posting on the Army Rumour Service Forums. (A search on google using these terms will locate the site). Like as not some old sweat on there will remember the fella you are talking about. Good Luck.

  • I was in Bielefeld when you were in Soest and I bought an endowment policy from Abacus Financial Management Ltd - is that the company you used?
