You honestly think that if they see someone fall over in the store their first thought will be 'oh god I must move my car ASAP'?
No, they probably ask if there was anything they could do to help :)
maybe offer a lift to the hospital, not far to the car ;)
people in wales aren't as a rule so anal, even as i stated before, the local police don't enforce "stupid yellows" that actually cause more problems than they solve, it was an out of town jobsworth that got me, i have no problem paying the fine (thats the risk you take & 99 times out of a 100 you're ok) but if i could have got the ticket scrapped on a technicality i would have, that's what these forums are for, NOT for people to sit on their high horses making moral judgments on others :naughty:

This site isn't about getting out of paying tickets on a technicallity! It is about money saving. My moneysaving advice would be to not park on double yellows incase you get fined.

I still stand by what I said, The yellow lines are there for a reason. Maybe at the moment you can't see why they are, but maybe one day you will realise there is a reason they're there. Your idea of 'stupid yellows' might not be someone elses idea of stupid yellows when youa re blocking access to an emergency vehicle.

  • You should have put your hazard lights on, everyone knows that if you whack them on you can park anywhere
It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical
