    SanDisk, iRiver, Cowon, Creative and Archos all do players with expandable memory. Not sure about Sony.

    An expansion slot would allow uncontrolled access to the file system.. this is not 'the Apple way'

    Yes but the mod way its nice to get in to jailbreak. I think an expansion slot would have been nice addition

    Macworld are putting the lack of a camera in the touch down to technical issues with the width needed for chips to take still pictures. Similarly this is why the nano only has video capability and not stills which they apparently didn't want for the touch.

    The iphone I know is a little thicker but I wouldn't say its huge compared to the iPOd I think they are useing it as an excuse for having it next year with Gen 4 with holomatrix touch air interface, voice activates and response, Sounds like Troys Mom and ridicules your music taste.

    I read that apparently the lack of camera is due to Apple wanting to focus the iPod Touch as more of a gaming machine in their lineup and want to keep the costs down, thus not adding a camera.
