£229 for an iPod touch. £725-odd for an iPhone. Not too puzzling why there is no camera on the touch.0

64 GB of storage is very nice. If the iPhone 3G S is anything to go by, the performance should also be considerably enhanced when compared to the 2nd gen iPod Touch.
What caught my attention was the number of games available. There are 607 games available for the Sony PSP, 3,680 for the Nintendo DS, and 21,178 games available for the iPod Touch.
It's even more impressive when one considers that the PSP and DS have been around almost 4 years longer than the iPod Touch, and Apple weren't even trying to make a mobile gaming platform.0 -

Voice control sounds like a good idea, but other than people knowing what rubbish taste in music you have you might as well say "I got an iPod come mug me for it"Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740

It looks like the 8GB is unchanged , the 16GB has been scrapped and the 32GB and New 64GB have the new processor and voice control.
Is that how it looks to others?Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740 -
A duck, a gun, and a reasonable sense of detachment.

Marty J,
Over the two or three years I have been reading your postings on here, many have informed me, many have helped me, many have charmed me, many have impressed me and many have amused me.
You are an :A of the ultimate class.
But nothing you have ever written before, here - indeed, nothing that anybody has ever written before, here - made me laugh as much as that!
I read it just before settling down to consume the fated fowl, all by myself (save for the cat, who was paying extremely close attention to the possibility of any little morsels that might be forthcoming), in the absence abroad of my companion, and every time I thought of it it creased me up with laughter.
Ten, perfectly judged, perfectly weighted words, combined into a masterpiece of wit, construction and delivery. :T :rotfl:
And, upon the subject of detachment that you have so enobled with your wit, what I'm sure that you (if others too blinded with selfish gadget lust don't) appreciate is that far, far far more worthy of delight and celebration than this year's incarnation of a shiny little music player is the sight of Steve Jobs restored to a sufficient state of health to cast his spell and, with fragility, weave his magic once again.
Not all my tears at that sight were of joy, for reasons which I know you will understand and probably share, but the tears that followed, and helped dispel the underlying sadness of his situation, were of uncontrollable laughter. And that, indeed, was a wonderful cure. Thank you, my very highly valued and appreciated friend.

(By the way, and for the inquisitory benefit of davester, Magret de Canard isn't cooked in the oven; you saute it in a frying pan.

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

Still no expansion slot? Why?There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.
