You might have major problems being the bank holiday weekend, you may need to revise your date of travel0

i live in pembrokeshire and worked with a website advertising properties so i may be able to help! Where exactly would you prefer?
In generel Sount (tenby/saundersfoot) is very populated in tourist seasons and the liveliest part of the county due to the clubs/pubs.
Northh Pembrokeshire(st davids/Solva) is very pretty and is more suited to those who like to walk amongst the scenery! - no clubs around!
If you like surfing and a beach life then its got to be newgale/freshwater east. Then if you like mountains - then the preselis is the place to be - from there you can stand on a layby at the top of the mountain and se milford haven docks on the horizon- turn 180 deg and you can se cardigan bay! lovely!
I can highly recomend https://www.littleloveston.co.uk (my husband made the website!) its central to all and all these places are a 30min drive away!0 -

Hi,
Thanks for the links but unfortunately they all seem to be booked up for a long bank holiday break. I'll keep trying or may have to change my coastal holiday destination.0 -
Did you find anywhere in the end?diamondsky wrote:Hi,

I'm looking for a cottage in a peaceful location, maybe close to some good beaches and family pubs/restaurants for myself, partner, daughter (8) and son (1 month).0

Hi,
I gave up looking! It's my own fault, I get the urge to up and go and sometimes that works for me and I find a bargain or end up going somewhere completely different from where I was intending, usually due to availability and prices going upwards.
Instead, I stayed at home and potted around! Unbelievably, I am now on the hunt again. I just checked a couple of the sites mentioned previously and quite a few were fully booked up. It seems staying in the UK works out more expensive than flying off to another destination!0
