I'm slightly scared of meeting but very scared of travelling/staying, I can't guarantee I'd come :o

Ed's jabs are a week 2mo, I REALLY want to just not go :o I don't want to see him suffer that horrible pneumacocal(sp?) one again :( my poor baby!

Sami - you are silly! You have already met several of us - and we're normal! :D You've got a head start on the other poor ladies who've not had the pleasure of meeting any of us in RL!

Not sure why, but the third jabs didn't affect Violet like the second ones did!
    First ones she was fine.
Second ones she had big angry red lumps on her legs and cried for hours, with a temperature.
Third ones she was fine!

I had a civil marriage ceremony at the town hall

  • Caitlyn's jabs are on Thursday... I'm dreading them :( She wasn't affected by any of them really... A little hot and miserable after the first lot but fine last time... It's just the idea of her being stabbed by 3 needles... It just doesn't seem fair :(

Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

3 we had civil ceremony, they are soo quick though I suggest adding to it with a reading or your own vows :)

We don't really mind how long it is - its only going to be him, me, witnesses and possibly the children!

Did I ever mention I knew Dave online before I knew him in person? We knew each other 6 years in RL before we got together though :D

    Tell us more? How?

Sami... I can't promise that... I just read your post to him... He said he's not coming now, you all know him too well...
    LOL!
If we're meeting in Birmingham, you wouldn't neccessarily need to stay would you? The in laws come down from Liverpool for the day then go home quite often, takes them just over an hour to get home depending on traffic...
No I wouldn't need to stay if it were in b'ham, but there were other options mentioned too. I'm also quite panicky about being 'far' from home :o

    yes you did ;)
I have not tried the magic sponge on the glass yet... On account of I only cleaned it with metal scourers about 4 months ago so it doesn't need doing just yet ;) :rotfl: I'll try it tomorrow and let you know...
I wait with baited breath :D

    I know I am! :p
For Ed it was the 1st jabs that made him throw up and his whole thigh was bright red and swollen with a big hard lump at the jab site :(

Do they do two needles at once, then another, or one at a time?

Rhys will probably squeal then sleep.. and sleep and sleep.. I'm in for a quiet night tomorrow! ;)

Amazingly he didn't squeal much for today's jab. Jab today, jabs tomorrow, bloods on Weds and jab on Thursday.. Rhys' social calendar

    I'm confused - it happens a lot! :o

I was looking at info on our register office site, direct.gov and Gretna.

They all say they perform Marriage ceremonies or Civil Partnerships. The difference being that the Civil Partnership has no religious content. But everything about Civil Partnerships I can find mentions same sex couples!

MM i'm off to search Civil Ceremonies! Was yours in a reg. office?

we got married in a hotel in the room next door to where our reception was and had our photos done in the gardens they had there :) We lengthened ours by having 1 reading in the middle and had a few songs played while we got photos taken signing the register

ETA - when are the 3rd jabs?? red book not on the sofa, so therefore dont know !!

Nothing really interesting... We both used to chat in the MSN west midlands chatrooms in the old days before they closed them... We used to arrange big meet ups too... Then a few of us clicked and used to hang around as mates... Then when I had Aimee I stopped hanging out, but kept in touch with a couple of people... Dave was one of them... We carried on being mates... Then one night something just sort of clicked... That was the July... We had the church booked in the October...

So you're thinking of getting hitched eh ;)

well it'll be perfect for you then ;) I'd be a witness if you want to keep it secret, I'd do it for expenses only :rotfl:

Poor Rhys! I recommend lots of Mummy cuddles this week!!!

No idea about the jabs but it's probably different at every clinic...
