You're thinking of civil partnerships :)
  • Oh 3, you should absolutely definitely get one!!! I only wish I'd got mine sooner!!

And as far as civil ceremonys go... I think the ones with opposite sex people are just weddings at the registry office aren't they?

I'm slightly scared of meeting but very scared of travelling/staying, I can't guarantee I'd come :o
Ed's jabs are a week 2mo, I REALLY want to just not go :o I don't want to see him suffer that horrible pneumacocal(sp?) one again :( my poor baby!

Krystal - will Dave promise not to trump? from what you've told us of him I'm wary of that :rotfl:

If you'd asked me a couple of years ago would I ever meet someone in RL after meeting on the internet I'd have laughed in your face and said no way that's soo sad :p guess I'm sad now then!

    I'm confused - it happens a lot! :o

I was looking at info on our register office site, direct.gov and Gretna.

They all say they perform Marriage ceremonies or Civil Partnerships. The difference being that the Civil Partnership has no religious content. But everything about Civil Partnerships I can find mentions same sex couples!

MM i'm off to search Civil Ceremonies! Was yours in a reg. office?

Sami... I can't promise that... I just read your post to him... He said he's not coming now, you all know him too well...

If we're meeting in Birmingham, you wouldn't neccessarily need to stay would you? The in laws come down from Liverpool for the day then go home quite often, takes them just over an hour to get home depending on traffic...

Did I ever mention I knew Dave online before I knew him in person? We knew each other 6 years in RL before we got together though :D

I have not tried the magic sponge on the glass yet... On account of I only cleaned it with metal scourers about 4 months ago so it doesn't need doing just yet ;) :rotfl: I'll try it tomorrow and let you know...
