hi sami. yeah, i love them...altho not much point me bidding as i wont have the money for another couple weeks...
although i like the thought of the above, as its new, so i dont need to worry my strange lil mind about who was using it before (i think nits, dirt, disease....silly stuff!) so gonna watch it.

sorri i didnt post back earlier after u going to that trouble - my head is being distracted as OH STILL isnt home. he been out of the house since 7am, and ive heard nothing from him. am mostly worried, but also angry....
...OH just phoned. he is just leaving ballymena now, so will be home in apprx an hour. so now i know he is ok i am just so cross now im actally crying my eyes out.
    Carla-Farla!! :)

  • Wow, we all talk about sitting her in our pjs, pumps in hand, but we all scrub up fantasticly :)

I'm going to join in. Here's mine. Not the best picture, but the only one I have to hand at the mo :) You can see the bridesmaids here too. We got the corsets from Gallery Serpentine in Australia (the exchange rate was quite friendly at that point... not sure how it compares now) then made the skirts ourselves. It was about £350 for the corsets, then probably £80 for the patterns and fabric for the skirts. We all did our own hair and makeup and I spent about £20 on my boots. I changed into trainers later on, much to the amusement of everyone. They are very comfy trainers with jolly rogers on :)

And here is our cake, because I have a one track mind ;)

What I actually wanted to suggest is that if you are being :money:, I saw some wedding dresses in TK Max for less than £20. Not necessarily styles you are after, but I just wanted to say not to let the price put you off looking at places like that. No-one knows how much you spent (unless you tell us ;0) ). And on the day you will look so happy that even if you showed up in a bin bag everyone would say you looked beautiful! (Although you would probably regret it when you looked back at the photos ;) )

If all else fails, what size are you, and maybe there is an appropriate fairy around?

Hugs to Caz too... I've not read far enough back for details, but i'm gutted for you that it's not gone through. How long do you have before you have to be out?
