  • Sorry, not really been keeping up with the thread, we are having a stressful few days

I understand hugs an in order for Caz, Tara is dress shopping and everyone else is christmas shopping :eek:

We got back from our break on thursday, but the cold in the caravan and getting up to sort Liam in the middle of the night set off my asthma, it's calming down now I'm back home :)
Liam has become very colicky and seems to have had a dicky tummy. We went to get him weighed and the HV thinks he has eczema (but I was diagnosed at 6 weeks, so I'm not supprised) and also thinks he has reflux. We have a soap substitue and an appointment next week at the doctors :o Good news is he is stillputting on weight and is now 9lb 4oz.

Oh, for now I have a happy child, he is gurgling n his moses basket next to OH, and has just kicked off all his covers- think I'll have to dig out the sleeping bag

  • Just popping in briefly (will look back over the past few pages in a mo, once I've got tea done)...

Just wanted to let you know that Izzy had a mega feed tonight, so hopefuly that means we are back on track. (I also managed to put her down awake afterwards!) A big thanks for all of your support and info. If you guys weren't here I wouldn't have had all the info about it being a bit early for her to be self weaning etc, and would have listened to everyone telling me that was it. You helped me to be stubborn and keep trying, and it seems to have worked. You guys rock :)

No, I'm not drunk - this is me sober today!

Now to finish tea, then I'll see what you've all been up to.

(also west wittering beach is lovely, and paddling is one of Izzy's new favourite things! Oh, and watching mummy feed the ducks is very funny, but not as funny as watching people juggle!)

I'm off to bed - it must be hormones but I'm getting so annoyed with Husband all the time that I'd rather be in bed just so I don't have to talk to him. I ran my !!!!! off today getting loads of cleaning done. He faffed about for hours, went to the supermarket for things he wanted (and some fresh veg) and went to pick some stuff up at the seamstress. He did make dinner, but he also made a mess in the kitchen and didn't clear up after himself - right after I'd cleaned it. If I ask him to do something, I have to nag for it to get done and then he's annoyed cause I nagged him. I'm doing stuff that's on his half of the to do list just because it really needs done and he isn't doing it. And I resent the hell out of it.

Goodnight all - hugs to anyone who wants one.

evening ladies (and bruno and MOTM if you are lurking about)

i feel absoluately pants today (wont bore you with the reasons why)

anyway.... i am on another train of thought re sleeping. can anyone recommend a night light type of thing. i was thinking of battery operated not electrical. something that may attach to the crib if possible???

i am just wondering when baby girl wakes during the night and its dark and if she cant see me (i am right next to the crib) that she wakes herself up even more and then i have to settle her??

i know i could be completely off the mark but im trying anything and everything.

why is there NOTHING on tv tonight?????
