She went to bed at 7:15 and didn't fall asleep until about 8pm (I had to go in once to put her dummy in) then didn't hear a peep out of her until 6:30am :j

I did wake up at 5:30 though and got worried so had to creep into her room to check she was still breathing :o
now that just isnt fair:( i have a little witch that is getting up between 1 and 3 times a night and i have given up today and been up since 7am??? i have washing on and am thinking of sorting and packing up the toys whilst everyone is still asleep lol!

the said madam is crawling around with a telletubbies dvd box and screeches when i take it off her!

well LO went to bed at 8pm and then slept till 6am so can't complain. He's currently screeching at his daddy downstairs while they wait for GM and GD to pick him up. Let's hope he comes back fed (properly) and fully dressed

    Oh Caz :(

As much as I like you, I don't want to swap baby sleeping routines :D (remind me of that when she's awake all night in a couple of days!)

oh no nothing like that - just we are trying to get into the routine of feeding him brekkie and dinner and last week they didn't give him his dinner because he didn't look like he needed it!! I do love them dearly but they can be hard work at times.

Just ready that back and it seems a little harsh - probably coz they are out of practice with babies seen as DH is now 30!!

    Morning

Charlotte was up crying about 10.30pm last night. No idea why but I gave her a cuddle and she went back to sleep. James woke up at 7am this morning and she was fast asleep next to him. She must have woke again and just gone and climbed in with him :D
Here I go again on my own....

Aww Caz, it gets so tiring :( How old is Erin now?

Elijah's been doing well at night the last week or so, but he got a bit difficult again last night. First at the end of the evening 11.30ish I was soaking in the bath and I leapt about a foot out of it when he let out this top volume, blood-curdling shriek and sob, totally out of nowhere! Leapt out the bath, met OH in the hall, ... baby silent  we waited a few minutes but he had just gone back to sleep.

Then more problematically, at 4ish he woke up crying, I gave him a chance to settle himself but he was getting more worked up, when I went in he was standing up in the cot, clutching the rail and yelling with his head tipped right back... spent 20 minutes trying to get him quiet, eventually he went down, I snuck out, 20 mins later as I was just reaching sleep he kicked off again  stuck him on OH's booby this time, stayed awake 30 mins to then disengage him and put him back into bed, spent 3 minutes getting him to sleep instead of grinch, back in bed at 5.25, then at 6.15 he woke up and decided he was up for the day and made assorted playing, screaming, crying, or exploring noises for the next half hour til I surrendered and got up!

So yes moan over :p not NEARLY as bad as he used to be and not NEARLY as bad as some people are experiencing right now I know! Just a random regression when we were beginning to hope we might've got away from long night-time waking sessions

Hope the rest of you had comparatively restful nights and are ready to enjoy your weekends! :)
