With all the talk of Christmas, has anyone given any thought to what they would like? What's on your Christmas list?
I made my list and emailed it to Husband with plenty of space for him to surprise me with not-everything
The Man Who Loved A Polar Bear – R.U. Akeret (I know I'm getting this book cause I bought it)
A nice 2010 organiser/diary
A bath light thing: http://www.find-me-a-gift.co.uk/bath-underwater-light-show.html
Cherry red Doc Marten 8-hole boots
Pretty underwear
A print of William Blake’s Teach These Souls To Fly
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince DVD
EA Active for the WiiI got annoyed enough the first time by people commenting on my size. The first few months people kept commenting on how I wasn't showing (I was but it just made me look normal size instead of really thin) and then people started telling me I was huge and even asking me if I was sure it wasn't twins.
I think that's so rude. A nurse who had my notes in her hand asked me if I was sure there was only one. I maintain that it was a normal sized bump and it was only cause I'm only tiny that it looked so massive.My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Am I getting myself a reputation for being a wine drinking lady kisser?ladybirdintheuk wrote: »Perfect? Who's that. i'm sat here in a holey skirt, breast pump in hand. And I didn't remember to brush my hair or wash my face this morning either I think. Oops!
I'm wearing a very large, baby-sick-stained Curious George Tshirt and a pair of big knickers, and last brushed my hair about a year and a half ago. My hair responds best to having fingers pushed through it and being left alone. I did wash my face this morning - and yesterday I brushed my teeth for four and a half minutes and felt incredibly indulgent.
*hugs* for Tia, SM, elle, weezl, Glam, skinty, feelie and anyone else who wants one.
It's been an odd day altogether - a pregnant friend of mine asked if I wanted to go on a long walk with her - five miles all told, with the monster in the Baby Bjorn. Then Chinese food, but I discovered that my phone wasn't in my bag. I was at a shopping centre yesterday so called their lost and found, couldn't remember the precise model of my phone so explained that the wallpaper is a picture of Squinty-Eyed Angry Pirate Baby, and the woman laughed and said she had it. I can't believe someone handed it in. I meant to go to the seamstress to pick up my dirndl but time got away from me.
Rant follows - skip at will:
I'm trying to get the monster to understand night and day by keeping the room dark and not talking too much to her when she should be sleeping. Husband just isn't getting it - he talks to her constantly but thinks that because he's speaking softly it's ok, and I'm also trying to get her to associate night time with the crib but he wants to cosleep with her as much as possible so he orchestrates it so she falls asleep on his chest on the sofa and moving her will wake her.
I'm so irritated - if he doesn't want to play happy night time sleeping baby he could have said instead of agreeing with me and then ignoring what I said we should do. He keeps explaining how he's organised the cushions so she can't fall anywhere, which would be fine if that was my worry! I hate not being listened to, and then sleeping on the sofa gives him backache so then I have to listen to him whinge about being tired and having backache. If he was in the effing bed it wouldn't happen :mad:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Well tonight I have had my fix of the Winchester boys and Joshua Jackson in Fringe, last night I got to sample the delights of David Boreanez (my DH is so understanding of my teenage crushes on these men only problem is I am 27!!)
Plans for the weekend are to sort out Daniels bedroom and put his cot up, he keeps waking himself up banging into the bars of the crib.
So for not having anything to say this is a long post or rather it is when you are using the iPhone!!

Don't blame you, I would have done the same. Too much faffing about moving everything from one bag to the next each day0 -
Its completely normal to have milk for a long time afterwards.... I have a friend who always expresses something when her children are ill... Her youngest is now 10... She can only manage about a teaspoon now, but it's still there!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
