She is very fussy on the breast in teh day - looks around, pulls on and off every two seconds, loses her latch and chomps my nipple. It's all I can bear to let her have as much as she wants, let alone put her on again for more torture!
Do you have somewhere calm and peaceful you can feed her in the day? I'm wondering if there's less distraction for her in the night? I used to have an armchair in Alice's room and that was where I did all of Alice's feeds and I used to put some nice classical music on too. (It wasn't just for her benefit - it meant I could have water/snacks/a book to read there too.)

Are you able to/have you tried expressing? I did and OH used to do the late evening feed before he went to bed. That little break each day was just enough to get me through the soreness and it meant that she definitely had a good feed at that time which possibly helped her to sleep longer before needing the next feed.

  • Did someone say Peep show?! Tonight we will mostly be watching this!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Another difficult day here. Didn't feel happy at the restaurant chosen, so I had to leave. Got home, and didn't have any keys, so had to walk all the way back and get OH's. At home now, feeling pretty miserable. Can't visit Mum this weekend as she is having new floors put in, and I don't know how to cope for another week. Just sticking a readymeal in the oven while OH and friends are out having a nice meal :(

Tried to talk to someone about how I'm feeling, to be told they didn't think I'd cope being a Mum, and this is what it is like to have a baby. Its been about a week with medication, so I think I'm back to my natural level, and it is quite low. Managed to not overeat, but still having other 'issues'.

Oh boots card, I just had to re-order one on the website as I can't find mine. I looked on the boots thread and had a look at all the savvy people using their vouchers, 3 for 2 and all the points to get loads but it just goes woosh over my head!

I want one in time for Xmas plus I want a new foundation, looking at one that's about £25, ouch, but my skin is scabby and I'm not going to the celidah with pus spots showing through!

Really don't know why my skin is like this right now? It was Ok a few weeks back. Hormone change perhaps? I've got lots of nice red marks leftover from spots too....those fade though, I think.

I just sat and ironed all Keira's clothes (I don't do OH's, he doesn't care lol) plus I struggle with bigger stuff, her things fit nicely on the ironing board.

I was going to buy ironing water but I just added a wee bit of fabric softner, makes everything smell nice, and makes it so much softer!
