Congratulations on a bed Elle
the remaining steps to domestic perfection will fall like dominos now!
Had our 3rd night out as a couple in more than 13 months yesterdaymy mum baby-sat and we went to Nando's and Dorian Gray. Nice time
although I can't describe the movie as "nice", OH was clutching my hand and moaning about how disturbing it was for half of the film, bless her. It's a fairly dark story if you've read it, and the movie is mostly quite true to it in tone and content. I enjoyed it.
Just had barely time to catch up on the thread last night before I was dragged to bed - didn't quite get time to post. Now I've forgotten all the things I readand therefore can't make useful comments on people.
You can have some poetry (ish) - A cautionary christening tale!
The babe, with a cry brief and dismal
Fell into the waters baptismal
'Ere they'd gathered its plight
It had sunk out of sight
For the depth of the font was abysmal!

ETA Eeeek, sorry to hear that Ellethey stop doing that time ever after a while too! Good luck getting some breaks in today!

Gosh..this thread moves fast! I cant keep up :rotfl::o
Thanks for all your replies re DS' speech. I forget that he was 6 weeks prem as wellIts just that everyone else seems so worried about it and questions it and/or implies that me and hubby are rubbish. I don't think we are rubbish anyway!
DS has just started going to nursery for 2 afternoons a week. He really enjoys it and should get some practice there as its only a small group. He is *so* going to be a ladies man when he is older  As he is only just 2 he looks so wee compared to the others bless him :rotfl:
Sorry to hear about your little one Elle. I hope things get better soon xx
I must of missed your last post, my son (now 5) didnt speak until he was about 2.5 years, well he did but it was baby talk.
He had speech therapy, I went bck to work and he went into a day nursery, he came on leaps and bounds then and now I cant get him to shut up!
Forget what other people say or think, he will do it in his own time x:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
