Good vibesto you and Rhys, elle.
Skinty, try swaddling her and lying down with her in the dark. Don't interact with her, just hold her, perhaps pat her (Molly likes an uneven rhythm rather than a rhythmic one) and say her name quietly over and over. It works on Molly? Good luck, it's horrific when they're inconsolable.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

She has catnapped a bit but needs a proper sleep.
I had this yesterday - his temp was fine.
Ended up bathing him and then having skin to skin - which worked.
He just lurves being curled up in between my boobies which is where he is now.
Elle - Big hugs.
Caz - yay on house.

I did, thank you, I'm just inhaling my dinner and then I'll reply.
We took the monster to be admired by Husband's co-workers this afternoon. The departmental secretary came right from having a cigarette and kept grabbing Molly's hands and asking if she could hold her. The woman smelled so strongly of smoke that my eyes were watering, and so I pretended not to understand her a few times. Sadly, it's a bilingual company so she switched to English and I had to outright say no.
Husband took the monster along to her office after half an hour or so to soothe her hurt feelings, let her hold the baby and explain that I'm a terribly overprotective mother. But WHY do people think it's ok to inflict their stinky selves on small babies? DON'T touch my baby's hands with your grubby mitts - she puts those in her mouth.

aaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!! ok i need your advice(again!)
i have just had an angry mum at the door saying that lewis has ripped her little boys tyres off his new bike? this does not sound like lewis at all? so off i go to find him no buggy as its in the car and OH is off out?? i speak to the whole group of boys who all say that the boy was throwing stones and they let his tyres down, in a fit the little boy pulled the brakes on and pushes the bike forward causing the brake to rip through the tyre.
obviously im angry at lewis and he has had a row but honestly(i really want your honesty) do you think i should pay for the tyre? in one way i think yes but in another he caused the damage himself? HELP!What's for you won't go past you0 -
caz - sounds like it wasn't just Lewis but a group of boys who let his tyres down. Maybe they should club together to pay for it
forgot to say - after posting yesterday to say that so far Jack hadn't peed on me yet well.................................
Took his pooey nappy off ready for bath time and he peed everywhere!
Then, as I picked him up to put him in the bath, he musta put his foot in his nappy and I ended up with poo all over my top!
It is so GLAM being a mum :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
