I got a Sony a230 It had £50 off and I got a memory card and bag worth £90 free so very MSE:money: I chose this as I am a total beginner but its very easy to use and have been happily snapping away. I am going to night school soon to learn more about digital imaging. Have posed some of my snaps on FB.

    I'm shattered.. :(

Had a really good afternoon with my sister. Been into town and to Asda and Tesco. Posted lots of parcels and returned some things so lots of little jobs done :)

Got Rhys some sleepsuits and vests in the next size, plus some trousers in now size and a couple of bits in much bigger sizes but just because I liked them/had vouchers/giftcards. Didn't get anything much in the Asda Baby Event, just nappies (96 for £9, compared to their other offer of 31x2 for £10!) and some linkies, stacking rings and stacking cups to put away for the future, all 3 for £5.

Came back to a big parcel of new cookery books so going to look through them in a while and pick out something new to try..

Could quite easily skip tea and go to sleep now but SIL is due over soon. OH and Rhys already napping on the other sofa as usual..

Christmas I have bought a small present for LO from Santa claus. I am currently compiling a list to give to the grandparents so they can chose something that I know she'll use/like/need. Its a mix of toys, clothes and practical things. As her birthday is 6th Feb, I'm going for a range of ages - the idea being some will be put away for a while and that way we don't end up with a pile of plastic rubbish only suitable for a couple of months :D

sami - is the holiday sorted yet?
guess who served me in asda today?...
...Santa! it was a girl tho, sounded polish - THE most polite asda till person I've ever encountered :T
holiday sorted, we're going as planned but no IL's
Can anyone recommend any decent coloured muslins? Mine are all a bit on the thin side and thought I'd treat myself to some more. I'd like some bright, or at least something other than white! Red, Blue, Green or Mint - something other than white! Any ideas?
I'd go with Susan and dye my own, remember my sling? I can post the pic again if you like? its intense violet from dylon http://www.dylon.co.uk/colours.html

Do it! I'm busily doing Husband's gift shopping for everyone but me because mine was finished and I was bored.

I've also accidentally started on next year's birthdays because I saw a bargain and have a regiftable thing that's perfect for someone else.
