As far as I am aware, a charging order cannot force the sale of a property, but they place a 2nd or 3rd charge on the house to claim funds if the house is sold or repossessed if there is any money left after 1st and or 2nd charges have been paid.
Now I can't find the form I thought I had, do you know if this is still the case ??

Yes, I think thats right, when the property is sold, the charges are paid in order of priority starting with the mortgage and then the others in order of being placed on the title deeds.

oh I didn't know that, it does say no chain (sorry to the owners but yey for us if it means a bargain)
Hubby said he likes it and said not to worry about selling our house he reckons we'd have no choice but to sell it to a development company (boo and yey at the same time)

Nope, I have a bad habit of just going away, last year we went 6 times, all but one was just me and the kids, last minute UK breaks at £100 or less. My counsellor said it showed an inability to face my problems. :rotfl:

I think Caz was pretty happy with one of the houses and was going ahead with getting the paperwork sorted to take it! :T

To be honest we have talked about it but we'll struggle on without! We're both happier this way and OH has a little bit of time to write.
