My nan lives in the @r$e end of nowhere, and Chris' family live in Ockley, and I wouldnt move to England ( no offence );)
I'd love some where near MILs like this http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-26518493.html?locationIdentifier=REGION%5E2347&pageNumber=2&fromSummary=true&backToListURL=%2Fproperty-for-sale%2Ffind.html%3FlocationIdentifier%3DREGION%255E2347%26index%3D10
but our house isn't even worth £100k0 -
thats a nice house
I am in a fairly average 3 bed semi, but I do have a nice big garden, which makes me want to stay, and I am only 5 mins from the school !!The two best things I have done with my life

Omg another wasp has came into my living room. WHY ARE THEY FLYING 8 STOREYS HIGH!! Just my luck OH had left about 5 minutes beforehand with Keira to take her to the park, think there is some sort of dog show going on, I thought it was Gypsys to begin with because there was lots of caravans.
Anyhow, I've taken all my stuff and ran into the bedroom, just leaving the cats to sort it out.....bit of entertainment for them, I'm so nice.
Sami, the house prices here are OTT mind you I just looked on the rightmove link and there is a 3bed terrace house for 90k!! We could afford that, only thing is, not too sure on the area, but it has a garden....!
Might show it to OH later, the outside doesn't look nice mind. Ho hum.
Fell out with OH earlier aswell I was going ot go to my nanas tonight for some drinks but then decided I couldn't be bothered so had a nice long bath and OH said he was taking Keira to the park, then when I got out he was in a huff because it was getting colder and I said no-one stopped you leaving earlier? It was because I hadn't made him lunch!! HE HAS FLIPPIN HANDS! It's all because he doesn't want to do the things that require effort.
Really am at my last nerve with him, I am not designed to cook his food for him, he is capable of dressing Keira, he is capable of doing anything that requires effort but no he never does!
He sits on his beanbag, ps3 in hand telling me that *I* need to do XYZ with Keira and do this and that, get her eating better etc. Now why the hell does he think that he can sit and tell me to do these things when he is her parent too? Dunno how he can say I should work on her eating (I ALWAYS AM!) and when Im out he will throw chicken nuggets in for her because its easy, he ruins what I try and build.
Just don't see why he thinks I should be responsible for every aspect of her life, last time I checked she had 2 parents, and least I TRY and encourage her to eat new things/calm her down/introduce her to new experiences. The only thing she gets from him is half assed attempt at playing, chicken nuggets, and getting to watch him on the ps3!
We were playing a board game with Keira and he STILL had the ps3 controller glued to his hand, and kept "oh just a second till i do this etc"
If he doesn't change soon and start realising he HAS A FAMILY, and he can't be a selfish manchild anymore, then I really will tell him to go. For all the things he does here, it wouldn't make much of a difference to the living arrangements, sounds bad that, but really, he goes to work, comes home, sleeps, wakes up, wants food, plays ps3 till god knows what time. I know he's tired, but if he can play ps3, he can at least pretend that he's having fun when playing with Keira and not have that controller glued to his hand/eye on the tv.0 -
*hugs* to all.. sounds like we need them
We got more paperwork through this morning in fact for the charging order Natwest are trying to put on the house due to OH's debts. As he's still making all the payments set by the court, we're hoping they won't get it, and if they do we're hoping we won't be forced to sell due to now having a dependent, but we'll see.. I'm not going to let it be sold without a fight, put it that way!
The plan is to stay here for 4-5 years until the debt is paid off and then think about it again. It's a nice house (now!) in a nice street (on the edge of a not-great estate but hey ho), but could always do to be a bit bigger. Good enough size for the three of us and Rhys has a big enough room to store all his stuff, but I'd panic if we had four of us in here - and OH would have a fit cos he might have to give up his comp room!
We've had a visit from FIL and OH's Granny this afternoon. Granny's marbles have been MIA for a while and I lost count of the amount of times I answered the same question..
Still not got round to this walk to the shops but I've just used the last of the milk so we'll be going shortly, no doubt..0 -
elle, the charging order shouldnt force you to sell, its just there si if you do sell, they can take what they need after the mortgage is paid and before you get anythingThe two best things I have done with my life

They've threatened it alreadyProbably cos it's Natwest who got all that tax payers money to bail them out so they've got to look like they're calling all their debts back in. On the bright side, I'm sure we've just upped the value a lot with the work we've just done - wish we'd got it valued before and after
Oh, torturing myself.. I've just been browsing cookery books and now I'm watching Come Dine With Me.. I'm hungry!0 -
I'm gonna look out some of my legal stuff from work and pm you, cuz they cant do it, but I am sure they will threaten !! Dylan is in my arms now, so will get you it later if you want itThe two best things I have done with my life

That'd be good ta
They've got the interim charging order and OH is back in court in early November for the decision as to whether they turn it into a full CO, leave it as interim or dismiss it all together (according to the paperwork).
