how does it make me look like a troll? im asking for advice, i clearly lay out all facts known to me and i ask for an opinion. I UNINTENTIONALLY sound misleading in the post which in any case makes no difference whatsoever to opinions as i dont want bias views anyway.
I'm not bothered if you personally offer me advice in future. Most of the posts recieved have been very constructive.
Definition of Internet Troll and Online Trolling
In Internet terminology, a troll is a person who enters an established community such as an online discussion forum and intentionally tries to cause disruption, often in the form of posting messages that are inflammatory, insulting, incorrect, inaccurate, absurd, or off-topic, with the intent of provoking a reaction from others.
Now i havent intentionally done anything to make me a troll. You however have intentionally replied to this thread after your original constructive post in an off topic manner. Please understand what you're calling someone before you do so as you're clearly jumping on the 'troll' bandwagon without actually understanding the definition.
Please dont respond again unless its on topic. I'm after advice on housing not a debate on posting etiquette.MFW - <£90kAll other debts cleared thanks to the knowledge gained from this wonderful website and its users!0 -
TBH, from what I read of your post I also assumed you were the seller. I thought someone had the wrong end of the stick the first time they mentioned you as a buyer. You say its unintentional, yet looking at the wording it seems deliberate. Most people post in a personal way, saying what situation they are in and asking for help. Yours was cold and impersonal, which may be how you are and in which case can't be helped, but to me reminded me of a gay mate when he skirts round the he/him/his issues when mentioning a partner.0

The difference it makes is that some people on here will not be as willing to respond or offer advice in future.
Oh, and it makes you look like a troll.
Well I will offer advice this time and again as I never thought the poster was a Troll.

i deal with facts. I dont care for personal details as im not here to play friends with people i dont know. Work is work and play is play. I make my friends face to face but when it comes to business i give the details without any frills and i get responses and digest them.
Works for me, its why i have respect for the job i do. If its offended people i dont know because they're being over sensitive about a post then thats their problem.
I have valued all of the constructive opinions given so far and have thanked them using this sites system. Unfortunately im not in a position to give out sexual favours/candy or a shoulder to cry on so anyone seeking love and affection will have to do without.
Thanks againMFW - <£90kAll other debts cleared thanks to the knowledge gained from this wonderful website and its users!0 -

My view is that the FTB can be a difficult person to sell to. As mentioned above, the survey will call up things that the naive FTB will question, and will try to reduce the cost further on.
Would prefer to sell to a small chain, but agree that it depends on the quality and robustness of that chain (I've made that mistake before).
It's a stressful and anxious time in this Country - needlessly so, of course. Adding the complexity of the FTB would not be for me, especially with £5000 deduction.

some very silly people on here..to the op...i get your point..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
