How Many CCs Did You Have At Your Worst???

I had 8 CCs at my worst, from £4k limit down to a measly £350 on my student barclaycard.. No storecards, stupid as 8 CCs is, I knew very well what poor deals you get from storecards and their ilk so stayed well clear..

Lightbulb moment moved me to consolidate my 8 down to 6, have since paid off two and am 'discussing' the other with the nice* people at Link Financial

I dont know how some of those uni students cope i really dont, sh*tloads of debt before they've even got a job.

They livein the hope of getting well paid jobs. Often they still have to start at the bottom and work up, it's about time grants came back.

I thought we had two but after checking our credit file last week it seems OH hasn't cancelled about 5 that we no longer use (they were in his name so I can't cancel them). Guess what i'm nagging him to do at the moment?!?

At worst I think I had 4 and a store card, all with fairly low limits though TBH.

I came here with 3, opened two, and I have cancelled three since being on here, and another one will be able to go by June. I hope, otherwise I shall remain confused!!

The most credit cards I had at once was three, but this was because I was doing a balance transfer from two Egg cards to a Virgin card because Egg wouldn't give me a high enough limit to put both amounts on one card.

I cancelled those two, so only have the Virgin card now, unfortunately I still owe £2600 on it.

However my credit report tells me I've had nearly 30 types of various credit in the last six years! _pale_
