If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

I have doubled the total number of credit cards I hold since trying to become debt free! From 2, to 4 - to take advantage of 0% deals :D I've never had a store card, thankfully. I'm just waiting for my most recent payments to clear on 2 of them now, and then I'll close them, bringing me back down to 2 :j

Even with just the 2 original cards though, my potential credit was unbelievable - they just kept upping the limits. Thankfully, I never maxed them out totally, and (when I remembered) got them to reduce the limit as soon as they put it up. Things could have been a LOT worse than they ended up being *shudders at the thought*

I've never had a credit card in my life

Mind you, the only debt I had ever run up in my own name was on my 0% overdraft.

My DH on the other hand... had three, I think. But whilst it was his responsibility, I know I benefited from the money he borrowed on them. So I'm not blame-less.

I am one of those that has more CC now i am trying to get debt free because i am transfering some of the balances over to 0% ones. So i have four.

However the balance on one of them is now cleared and it is getting the chop.

So i have three which are still active (though not used)
And one about to pass over to the other side, may it rest in pieces:cool:
