People always think I am a man.
I once went out with a bloke who said I thought like a man. He seemed to think he was paying me a compliment.

Begger, I made this lovely big witty reply and then lost it!

Well actually the cat lost it when she walked across the keyboard....
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Anyway take two....

Ooooh Mewbie, you are lucky you are just printed words on the screen instead of only a few feet away from me as by now, you would have a very sore head...one from the blooming big clip round the ear hole and secondly from the nagging I have just given you.:D

The one main area I get very opinionated about is the idea that females are only interested in clothes, makeup and handbags and couldn't possibly want to take part in serious discussions and personally, I would be bored silly if I was forced to spend time in a forum with girly girls discussing the above...although I am not above discussing the various merits of the male form and certain actors. :rotfl:

I've always run with the boys.....the girls were just too...well, girly.

I blame my dad, I was the only one who would watch sports and discuss politics with him...oh and who was the biggest chauvanist in the world, so I rebelled against him! :D

Bah, not as good as the original but close enough.....

A clue to gender could be if they think they are always right..always, always and don't cede their view at all......usually turns out to be male.:D

Actually, couldn't we just separate the forum into Bulls and Bears?

That way, we could avoid all the aggro, and have a party, instead.
But carolt, both you and I would be in the Bull section, winding them up.

Nah, I'd quite like an easy life... ;)
  • I think we should separate the forum into for and um.

I rather like the girly threads. More chilled.

I have a suspicion that if we just ever so subtly brought the conversation round to a certain Mr Depp, say, we'd find that mewbie's wish had magically been granted, and the men on this board would just slink away... strange that. :)

I haven't posted on many diff forums, but did find a guru when we were sorting out shop lease...who was shocked when we spoke on the 'phone as I was female. I don't think I am blokey.

    Likewise, here.....hence ID in sig.

A clue to gender could be if they think they are always right..always, always and don't cede their view at all......usually turns out to be male.:D

    So girly.

BTW, I am female....for some reason, people keep thinking I am a bloke.;) Just thought I'd ID my gender in my sig.

You didn't just think it, you did it.

Just to say, in Real Life, what with my line of work, no way would anyone think I was a man. I must write like a man or think like one?
