Can anyone confirm if its possible to view any german channels using a uk sky dish. I remember a long time ago when sky was first out it used the astra dish and shared with some german channels,just not sure if thats still possible.My reasons are to allow me to view german football on there ch SAT1 which i believe is a free to view channel. Failing that could some very clever person PM me any web sites that show good quality streams please?

Your dish could pick up Sat1 but would need to be moved to 19.2e where it broadcasts according to here.

As I am German myself: lots and lots of Free-Footie and good programs. Though you can use your dish and "look" at both Sat-Station, though you should have a bigger dish. Get yourself a multi-Lnb-holder for Astra 1+2 and your up and running...0
