Will 3 EVER upgrade a phone early?

    Im now being told different things by everyone at 3 i speak to! I emailed the CEO who replied very quickly with a email that gave me a case number (?) and they have said they will get back to me within 10 days.

    Before i received this email, i went back into the 3 shop and was told by one sales advisor that i would have to pay the line rental on the rest of the contract to upgrade early = £125, then another sales advisor said that was wrong and i would only have to pay the line rental until the upgrade was due = £50 and no-one can work out where the intial quote of it costing me over £300 to upgrade early comes from as i only pay £25 per month and my contract would be over in Feb!

    To add insult, there is now a mast problem near where i live, so the service is pretty much down too. My phone has also completely given up and im borrowing someone elses spare.

    At the point now, where i dont care so much if theyll upgrade early, i just want them to agree on something, as everyone im talking to says someting entirelly different.

    why don't you just leave it until your upgrade is due, and borrow a replacement inbetween if it annoys you that much? seems like you're causing yourself a lot of additional stress for no real reason.

    Thats exactly what i am doing, i have borrowed a friends spare phone, but my point is that i shouldnt have to, the cost of my monthly contract includes an amount each month to cover the price of the phone and for at least a third of my contract i either havent had a phone as its being repaired, or my phone isnt working.

    I have always tried to defend 3's service as i have never had a problem with them, up until now-but now i definately see why everyone seems to moan about them.
