3 mobile Bandwidth usage - Skype?

Hey there,

I am thinking of getting 3 doogle? internet, and I have done the usage calculator and i think i will be ok with the 3GB, but I just wanted to check that Skype doesn't use extra as I will be on that a lot?

I am with 3G on mobile Phone contract, so am hoping to wangle a deal with them, has anyone else managed to? They did ring me up not long ago offering me it with a 'free laptop' and I have wangled a £5/month loyalty mobile phone contract and am on their 'good customer list' any tips? lol

My phone has max reception where I will be using internet, presumably that means the internet won't have bad connection like it has for some people, which I understand as I have rubbish 3 reception on my phone both at work and at my parents house, just seem to be lucky in my flat!

do you mean using skype on an internet dongle?
I have used mine with it but only the chat text facility and it is very low bandwidth use.

Depending on the strength of signal and speed, you may be only able to use the chat text, as this was all I was able to use with MSN and Skype.
