Nope because everytime I have tried to help a stranger, 90% don't thank me.0

As with a previous response my motto is what goes around comes around so I would help as much as I could. Everyone makes mistakes, no one person on this earth is perfect least of all me so who am I to judge?Scaryfairy :EasterBun

.... put yourself in her shoes.... how would you like a stranger to deal with you
You could exchange addresses if you wanted to, and if the person never repaid you, so be it.......most people would, so if this one didn't, don't let one rotten egg turn you into a cynic.
Besides, "whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them" is what it says on the tin.0 -
There would be no need to pay the persons fare, train companies can invoice those (under circumstances perceived to be genuine by the revenue inspector) to their home address. This would also allow the person to make their case to people who have the authority to waive the fine element thus working out all round.0

Why expect thanks. I wouldn't even look to hear that because I don't like to make them feel they owe me something. If I give something, they owe me nothing - they only owe to someone else desperate in need. Doing someone else a favor would actually be equal to that gratitude because it would mean that what I gave was so valuable enough for them to remember to pay it foward. Yes, seen that movie pay it foward0

what makes Mr Blake say that?0 -
Yes I definately would, and I would like to think someone would do the same for me if I was in the same predicament.0
