Tips on new diesels bargains in May & June

For anyone thinking of buying a new diesel, Ford announced new bonuses to their dealers this week which are valid for orders placed this month and last only up to 30th June for deliveries. Most diesels get extra money off compared to April's deals and for all Fords there's a 25,000 Nectar points deal on new retail cars from Ford bought in May and June. They've also put some huge bonuses on Focus Sports with immediate effect.
If you need to factory order anything as you want extras you need to do it this week as most Ford models are on 8 week leadtimes so it's very tight to get a factory order though in time to beat the 30th June deadline, but there's a fair amount of stock in Ford's compounds too (except diesel Fiesta unfortunately) that you can take within 2-3 weeks.
Citroen also came up with some decent new May deals too.
It is often hard to get to know about these things, so we hope this helps someone!

Having had 3 fords previously. I wouldn't touch 'em with a barge pole. One had every door lock replaced within 3 years at a cost of £180 each, the other two spent more time in the garage than on the road with various electrical, Engine Management and mechanical failures. i'm not surprised they've been forced to offer "deals".
If you can afford the extra, go for a VW / Audi/ BMW diesel, better build quality and quieter more powerful engines.0
