I can't wait to see Crazy Heart, I'm actually more into it than The Last Station for certain reason!

I went to see Everyones fine tonight - well last night now.
    Very pleasant surprise.
I watched the trailer....but the film was better than I expected.
Not Oscar level, not earth shattering, not an Avatar or Hurt Locker...just an all round solid, enjoyable film.
Funny moments, sad moments, even lump-in-the-throat moments.
80% full - only seats left were in the rows right at the front.
Only one person on the screen ( for me) de Niro. Beckinsale and Barrymore were non-existent.
Film was quiet, thought provoking, gentle.
"Whenever I answered the phone, you would ask if your Mom was in..." certainly touched a nerve with me.
My teenaged DS loved it as well

I'm doing Everyone's fine tonight and Wolfam tomorrow but not at 10:00 pm like our Pooch, no way!

I started yesterday at 10am onwards to Odeon to see Me and Orson Welles. What a fab film, Zac Ephron impressed me greatly. I then had around 5 hours to kill before my next film so I tootled round the mobile phone shops and nabbed myself a nice new moby with a new number!
After el cheapo meal deal at Pizza Hut I tootled back to Odeon to see The Lovely Bones. What a wonderful film that is, I teared up right at the end as did a young girl in front of me.

Then off to Cineworld to see The Wolfman at 10.30pm. I thought there had been a high turn out for Lovely Bones but I'd say there was only a couple of single seats left at most. What an absolute cracker of a film. The gore levels were just right, Anthony Hopkins was suitably malevolent and the fight scenes were impressive. Think American Werewolf in London and you will know how good the effects were when the wolf transformations happened. Although I did think that Mr H looked a little like Teen Wolf with his little black nose :rotfl:.

Great fun and a brilliant end to a film filled day.

Off to see A Prophet and Astro Boy tomorrow :j

Glad to know Wolfman was good, I'll be seeing it today.
I thought Zac Efron was excellent in Me and O Wells, I'll wait till it goes DVD to rent it and watch it again. Fantastic film! Everybody's Fine was better than I expected, a bit cheesy at times but as an overalll not bad, won't do much money I don't think because is about families and it seems the more I go on the more I understand not one wants to deal with personal probs but good to create probs to others.
    Have a lovely day everyone!

  • I personally though Wolfman was rubbish. Bad CG, Bad Acting and zero chemistry between any of the leads especially Emily Blunt and Benicio Del Toro.

I wont be recommendeding it to 10 friends but once again it was free so i cant complain too much.

    new code - 21633

    Picturehouse cinemas:

clapham - there are no tickets left
greenwich - there are not tickets left
    liverpool
    oxford
    henley
    southampton
    stratford upon avon
    york

    Previous codes include: 21847 , 22048, 21499

There are no tickets left for Clapham and Greenwich on any code.

It's only a duplication of the previous post with "additional details" that are NOT strictly true.

Just because tickets are not available at a particular venue at this instant does not mean some more may not become available. Some may be cancelled & returned or the supplier may have another batch to release under an existing code.
    Happens all the time.
The only guarantee that all the tickets have gone is when the film has been shown !
