I did not like The Soloist at all but I don't think it was the actors' fault. I thought doing computer visualizations for quite a while when the music was playing was lazy and I got fed up with aerial shots of LA.

The story had several angles which could have been explored making the film much more interesting. For example, they could have explored better how the homeless person got there (they showed it for a short while), the reasons for the journalist to follow it up etc.

Credit to both actors though who I think were very good at what they did.

  • i really enjoyed the soloist - i thought both key actors gave a very strong performance and the score was brilliant
bargain shopping is the only way to shop :j
  • I liked Robert downey Jr in the soloist but thought that the film was a bit mixed up and wish that you had some more insight into the mind of the character that Jamie Foxx played when he was younger was a bit like a mish mash of the film Ray and Shine but unfortunately not quite as good.
  • Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to change names for the Adventure Film Fest tickets? I've got them, but I can't make it so I was going to give them to a friend. However, I'm not sure if they'll let her use them. Can anyone help?

Usually they do not ask for ID, have been going for years and not once yet. But to be safe you could give her something with your name on.

If they're still there, I've just cancelled 2 tickets for UP at Vue Bristol Cribbs Causeway for this Sunday. (the Sky perks tickets)

Was hoping it was gonna be 3D but I'm pretty sure it's not now.
