Picturehouse @ FACT never did call me back so I presume that they are going to cancel a film and show the preview as mentioned in my earlier post.

Not that it matters now as I cannot go. No public buses in and out of town from where I live and taxis aren't travelling into town either. So very disappointed that I will have to miss this.
  • returning my 3 tickets for sex drugs and rock and roll tonight at southampton because of the snow and friends not being able to come. hope this helps someone :)

Picturehouse @ FACT rang me a short while ago and tonight's screening of Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll is definitely going ahead. Head Office had to sanction it.

So although I can't get there tonight I hope some of you make it and will post a review.

    Enjoy

  • We made it to the screening of Sex Drugs and Rock & Roll.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the music. They obviously didn't have a big a budget as Avatar but very well put together, very imaginative and we'd both recommend seeing it.
We went to the Metrocentre at Gateshead for anyone who hasn't been recently, it's moved. The cinema in now in the yellow quadrant where the amusement park used to be.
If anyone has been, what did you think of the new sit-up-straight seats?
  • was it very busy at the metro screening - I couldn't make it in end with snow and traffic issues:confused:

I live in Nottingham and wondered if anyone knew of any discounts/ticket offeres etc for me? I was looking to go see Avartar premier but its going to cost £35 so was hoping to find something to make it a bit cheaper.
  • Anyone know if you can get into the Times + screening of Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll without a Times+ card, I did tell them on the application that I wasn't a member and still got a ticket?

    No very quiet
A lot of the shops were shut by 6pm, that includes Boots and most of the smaller shops.
Didn't even have any problems parking on level 3 of the multi story car park and I expected all the under cover parking to be full.
