I found the opposite last week when I watched the Sorcerers Apprentice in Sheffield it was packed - but it wasn't through sky!

What did spoil it though was the people walking in 15 minutes into the film and disturbing everyone

    The Mole has a point.

    I agree.
What puzzles me is if you can't chat on a 'discussion' thread, where do we chat?? In codes only? Ha ha ha

Went to see Going the Distance this morning and really enjoyed the film. At one point I was laughing so much I was crying. Good film in my opinion. Again though quite a few empty seats.

They did that today too. I dn't understand WHY the cinema lets them in so lateits very annoying.

Which is one of the things I predicted when Sky started adding tighter and tighter restrictions.
Presumably they have to pay the cinemas and distributors ( or at lest come to a business arrangement) to 'host/sponsor' the preview.

It would make more sense to have them as full as possible.
Not a great atmosphere to be at the preview with six other people.

Unfortunately, even though they have lightened some of their restrictions, which would mean that I could get ticket now.... they have somehow managed to not have any screenings in my area.
    Typical:cool:
    C'est la vie.
Hopefully this increases the chances that my cinema will be listed soon;)

I saw Diary of a Wimpy Kid at Switch Island, Liverpool where it was practically full. Thought it was very funny, just right for a Sunday morning.

(I don't know if these people read this site but hopefully do.)

To the lovely people I met at Odeon Liverpool ONE when the staff were going to show Knight and Day on the wrong day, I do apologize for looking straight through you in the corridor after the preview this morning. I was miles away. It was only when my handsome personal seat warmer said "hello" did I snap back to reality. Please say hello if you spot me again.

Been to see Diary of a wimpy kid this morning at the trafford center.
It was a good film both me and my 10 yearold son (who has read the book) thought it was funny.

Its very dissapointing to see the cinema less than half full :-( when these tickets always go within mins of the codes being posted.

I know often things come up and the weather is for once gorgeous today here in Mnachester but its such a shame when other people might have gone.

The cinemas 'sell' x amount of tickets to whoever is showing the preview; Momentum, The Times, The Guardian, Sky etc but they don't always buy a room full, which seems odd to me.

When Sky started their previews you weren't allowed to see two previews in a row. Their argument being that they had more customers than available seats. Giving the impression that previews would always be full. That's when they changed rules so that only Sky movie subscribers could attend them. That applied to one preview originally. Recently the rules have changed so often that they've probably confused the life out of us all and maybe some can't be bothered because of it all.
