That time has arrived that I was expecting to happen ever since Blacksky200 first posted the long link that takes you directly to Sky's booking page.

    IT HAS BEEN DELETED!!!

Thank you Blacksky200 for your gross incompetence. Now only a totally personalised link will open the booking page which means that you have to be a sky customer to book tickets. Anyone who now spreads around a working long link will soon find it no longer works. Sky have really upped the ante on this one.

Not being funny, but I pay £££ per month for Sky, so I do think as a paying customer I should be able to get the tickets before someone who isn't.

If you can see a question mark "?" near the end of the link, somewhere in the last 20 characters, then its your personal link which uniquely identifies you. Please post it online so that you can never use the booking page yourself.

what about all the people who have gone out and bought magazines etc who are inconvenienced because people have posted the codes oneline and when the person who bought the mag tries to get tickets they cant because the codes have been raped by online forums...... swings and roundabouts my dear!

Fair point, but I don't think a Heat magazine costs quite as much as a Sky subscription.

Hmm well all it does is adds a 'comefromsky' cookie to your browser. It's not hard to forge cookies you know.

Took me about 5 minutes to make it so I could view the booking page, I already have links anyway lol.

For anyone who wants to do that, here's a hint: addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13793

Interesting, when it fails tomorrow just read back what i've already said and add this: the main part of the link runs a bit of javascript which enables all future accesses to the booking page for that session. It now links into the extra information and confirms the id of the person accessing the booking page.
You only think you have it sussed, I know you haven't.
