Free Cinema Tickets - Discussion thread

I think people are worried it won't be taken care of.
If you've noticed a problem, PM (send a private message to) the code poster & let them update their own posts. You can do that by clicking on their name -> 'Send a private message ...'. That way the code thread stays clean but problems still get fixed.
Special thanks to all the code posters, it's much appreciated.0 -
Hi All
Long time reader, first time poster.
Do the MSE rules allow swapping of free cinema tickets?
Also do the cinemas ask for ID?? (as this is pointless if they do)
Basically i have 2 tickets for Going the Distance in Cardiff on the 17th Aug but would prefer to go on the 23rd Aug as my other half cannot go with me on the 17th.
Also, had my first free cinema tickets a few weeks back to see the A-Team thanks to you guys on here (so thank you for posting the codes).
Cheers

The thing is people will and do keep trying and will post again when its working, none of us work for SSF ShowFF etc, also do we really all want to be emailing these companies......the codes are afterall not meant to be posted on here but for the readers of the magazine or whatever they are featured in.
If you read back through the threads its not the first time and I'm sure won't be the last, just keep trying the code if it is showing availble but not booking yet and we should just all be fortunate for what we get! I know I am very grateful for every freebie I get and to all the people that post the codes. Thank you!!:hello:0 -

Nottingham & Derby have never asked me for ID, but best to check that applies to your cinema. Also, had my first free cinema tickets a few weeks back to see the A-Team thanks to you guys on here (so thank you for posting the codes).
Did they check your ID then?0 -
Yet more unbelievable morons reprimanding chatters in the codes thread with YET MORE CHAT!!
"Sorry to be rude but what is wrong with some of you stupid people? Very frustrating. If it says "unavailable" then you've missed your turn. If it says "available" and you can't click then simply be patient until showfilmfirst make the tickets available! Simples! Your consistent posting of pointless messages is not helping the matter as none of us work for showfilmfirst and furthermore the poor people that have alerts sent to their mobile phones are having to read all this drivel!"
Did this poster really not get the irony of what they were saying??!!
Once again, polite PMs to offenders please, not yet more chat.
Thanks.0 -

I was talking about sending private messages to the people that are posting codes in the thread, not emailing the companies.
They can then update their own posts with new information or known problems - that way it doesn't add new messages to the code thread (or if they do need to post a new message, at least it's from a good source rather than chat).0 -

Sorry, I was replying to you part about people concerned about the problem not being taken care of.
Completely agreee about the PM, but the person who posts the code may not know why its not working yet, so in that case its still better to post on here.:hello:0
