I was there also loved it and agree I was surprised it wasn't in 3D would have made a really good film even better.
My friend had to leave though as her kids were scared, surprised it was a PG I would have thought a 12A would have been more appropriate.
I loved Nicolas Cage and the main character, I remember him from She's out of my League, he was good in that also.nickyhutch wrote: »I didn't see anyone leave (think I was so engrossed though, swooning over nic cage.....). A nice lady gave my DS some popcorn because she'd bought too much
I didn't see anyone leave and there were a lot of kids at the screening we were at. My DD who is 6 did get a little scared and sat on my lap for some of it, but it was more 'on the edge of your seat' scared than actually frightened and afterwards said she liked it and was full of it back home telling her dad all about it.
My DS who is 7 on the other hand was completely engrossed and loved every minute of it. None of the kids sitting around us seemed that worried either. I think PG was right for it, Parental Guidance you could see from the trailer what type of film it was going to be and its upto your as parent to decide if its suitable for your child.
It's a shame your friends kids had to leave and were upset but I'm glad it was a PG or my DS would have missed out on a great film he really enjoyed and it is essentially a kids Disney film!
Karate Kid was the one I was more surprised at, thought some of the fight scenes were very violent for a PG.:hello:0 -

Morning People,
I have been trying to get a ticket off the show film first site for the code given out @8.02 this morning
However, it shows available tickets but it doesnt give me the option to click on the tickets
Does anyone know how sparky managed to get tickets from the website this morning?0 -
Code 868844 for going the distance doesnt seem to work. Has anyone had issues with it as well?0

I have the same problem; it says "Tickets: Available" for all venues, but there's no way to book them.0

I have the same problem too.... but 5 people said 'thanks' - I tried both seefilmfirst and showfilmfirst - doesn't work with seefilmfirst btw.0

Glad it's not just me :-) Shame, I fancied that, and it's on at a reasonable time instead of rush-home-shower-change-rush-out-o'clock.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

I thought it was just me! Shame, by the time I get to look again I bet they will be all gone!0
