No - it's seen as a way of rewarding people who pay for Sky every month.

Sho - note the words 'reward' and 'pay for SKY every month' hee hee

Sho - You want to be a MOD here ANYWAY, just because it appeals to your bigger-than-big, swaggitty-swagger, spiv/rude-boy, BRAP nature.

The WORST thing this board could be imo is to appoint you as a MOD anywhere, liars and consters we don't want. LMAO :D

Sorry I don't speak to people beneath me. When you have 2 stars, come back and find me.

I'm glad you have recognised my A1 nature.

Yes I noticed the word "Reward" - That is exactly what I am to you and this thread.

"Pay for SKY" - Why have cotton when you can have silk? I'm happy with my N3 protected Cable service.

    BRAP.......again.

    Hi Everyone,

This is aimed at people who live in and around the York area who might like to support a community cinema.

Firstly, I must declare an interest as some very good friends of mine actually got this up and running after a lot of very hard work.

I finally got a chance to visit Selby Globe Community Cinema earlier this week when they screened a special showing of Oliver to a group of school children. Gosh, I'd forgotten just how good that film is.

On Monday the cinema is screening a wonderful film called Micmacs A Tire-Larigot. It's a French film with English subtitles and if you haven't seen it I highly recommend this extremely quirky little film.
You can read up on the film here at IMDb

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1149361/

One piece of trivia (and I apologise for mentioning this film yet again:D) Julie Ferrier who starred as the sister in Heartbreaker plays an extremely agile lady in Micmacs:eek:

So for anyone in the York/Selby area who fancy supporting a non-profit making community cinema, Micmacs is showing on Monday 19th July- 7pm for 7.30pm start and this is the official website

    http://www.selbyglobe.co.uk/

And for those who don't live in the area but may visit at some time, bear this cinema in mind as they show a wonderful variety of films, old and relatively new that appeal to all ages.

    Plug over :)

Just wanted to say thanks for the heads up on Toy Story 3D offer with Sky.

Went to see it with my three young children at the Haymarket today and they all loved it.

Cinema was pretty full - some spare seats but they were handing out free popcorn too - so it doesn't really get much better ;)

Saved me a small fortune and we all had a great time (although my three year old wasn't impressed by the "naughty pink bear").
"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."
