Happens to all of us IA.....YOU spend all the time worrying how they will cope with the separation, and they run off without hardly a word!
Glad it went well for you.
Seee you all later, going to get poked in the eye by an 'eye-orbit specialist' or something.

Morning all!
I saw the first tower hit on tv, but thought it was just an accident and went into town shopping. Got back and realised just what had happened. I also vividly remember when America started bombing Afghanistan a few weeks later. I agree that it was a defining moment of our generation. I haven't watched any of the films about it because it just doesn't seem right to me - making entertainment and money out of such a tragedy, I'd feel too much like a rubber necker. Although someone on last night's chat made a good point about owing it to the people who died to watch stuff and remember, I guess it's like the World Wars - never forget. If anyone wants to, there's a great book called Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, which is a fictional story about a boy who's dad died in the attacks, and how he deals with it, very well written.
I've got a couple of appointments this afternoon, so I'm going back to bed for a bit to rest up. Then I've got to phone the housing people to get back the £60 I'm owed.
Tenmah, good luck with the appeal, stats are on your side!
Luc, hope things are well with you now.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
