Any more OCDers?

Hi all, I have an appointment to see a psychristrist next week so my fingers are crossed that i'll get a proper diagnosis and some help now that ive finally admitted to having ocd.

Upferret and all others who are a partner of someone with ocd, I try to cope with oh's ocd, we call it his 'faffing' and whilst im waiting for us to go out, I sit and read or do something whilst he goes through his routine. It has helped alot cos I would be getting impatient but now I have grown used to it and adapted myself to him.

Mumcoll, I cant even bear to see the v-word, im that bad! There is an outbreak of norovirus here at the moment, its all over the local news and press which is an absolute nightmare, if I turn off the news then it sets off an ocd attack so I cant win.

my wife certainly has this though not serious,, everything has to b level and straight,,we have round coasters because she ccould not stand the fact that if u put cup on them they moved from straight :-)

Me to i have to check everything is shut and turned of and all in straight lines before going out also obssesed with lists and plans.
I too have dyspraxia and suffer from panic attacks.
Used to be cleaning phobic but can't do it anymore due to arthiritis and asthma.
