Yes - I think I will aim to do that.
Just found a letter hidden away that arrived today. From MBNA saying they have advised the credit reference agencies that my account is no longer in arrears (although the amount owed is still the same). That's some good news I guess?Total Debt now £22,525.07 Start Debt £32,732.36

Things are really looking up for you already. Its amazing how it all starts to get better. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Would O2 take £20 as a 'full and final'? Would Payplan be happy for you to try that?0
-
I am not sure but a good point and I will try tomorrow.
As for Payplan I spoke with them and they said any extra money I had should be distributed between all the creditors. However, a nice helpful girl there told me that I could pay any off myself and advise Payplan it was dealt with by a 'family member'. She just said be careful with any linked creditors - eg. paying some off to Barclaycard as the Barclays bank account and Barclays loan may get annoyed with this.

Just been online and made a call to Egg who say my account stands at £7926.82 and not £8042.45. This is being handled by Moorcroft and Egg have said they should not have added anything on - so hoping for confirmation that it is the lower amount and I will be £115.43 better off!
Made my offer to Moorcroft (acting for o2) to clear the debt with a £20 payment and heard nothing from them still.
