Problems with a buyer

It was an industrial plastic bag thick, strong and what VAX themselves use to send via DHL. Even DHL themselves confirmed it was sufficient. A cardboard box would be no stronger infact it wouldnt of been as strong!
Well if the VAX was hanging out the front and the tank was missing you would see that as its haning out!? Plus the bag is transparentWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
I recently returned my Vax to be repaired, via DHL in a strong sack as the OP states. I was VERY dubious about this as it did not seem remotely sufficent to me. But Vax said this was their procedure, and DHL took it happily.
Result? A brand new Vax for me as the old one was damaged in transit.
Not a reliable way to post a Vax at all IMHO.2 angels in heaven :A0 -

Im not sure how you pack but a Cardboard box with bubblewrap, foam etc will protect far better than a plastic bag no matter how thick.
As for your theories that they should have seen the damage. It makes no difference what you think happened you can't prove anything. If they are trying to scam you. you have left yourself open to it with poor packaging.0 -
The problem here though is that buyer was persuaded not to use paypal..so if we put ourselves in the buyers shoes they may be getting rather aggresive as they must be considering the possibility that they have been conned.
OP, you need to tread carefully here as although they have no come back via paypal they could go to small claims and that could be disastrous.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. People are trying to help by establishing all the facts and asking questions to clarify stuff, and trying to see it from BOTH points of view.
You've been given lots of helpful advice already, you just chose not to thank people for it, other than the poster who suggested it was a scam.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
