Bid accepted for flat, but no HIP available ?

I agree.
As long as my solicitor has done all the groundwork then the HIP isn't important to me. If there wasn't one then I'd ask for a contribution towards my searches before I complained to anyone.
And I certainly wouldn't pull out.
But, is this in Scotland? isn't it a bit different up there or is your friend actually 'offering over' in the rest of the UK?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Mate was in estate agents. Its the UK. And have offered over the "offers over 115k" at 117k
It was on market since late 2007 but letted out, so they have not tried to sell it to hard.
Had around 15/20 offers rejected over this course as they always wanted more... riding the storm of the market so to speak..0 -

Scotland really is another country, rather than a province of England, and house buying is one of those areas where things really are different.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
As said above about not having a pack is not a disaster but as its a flat, the lease details will be in the HIP. This is well worth looking at before paying your solicitor to look for you.0

I think that homes that were on sale before November 2008 in Scotland do not need to have a HIP.Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0
