I heared somewhere that in addition to the purchase price, you also have to surrender your c/card # for subscription purchases. Can someone please verify this, as we only have a solo card, thus presuming we are unable to have xbox live.
Many Thanks0 -

The subscription process for Xbox Live requires you to submit credit card details even if you have already bought and paid for a 12 month subscription code like the ones described here. I don't think there's any way around this I'm afraid.

Unfortunately this is not the case.alzoturtz wrote:I think you can use your account on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox, though I'd also guess not at the same time
I think anyway
You could easily find out with a quick google search i would think, but someone will probably know for sure
Good Price!
Once you transfer your LIVE sub from XBOX to the 360, it's no longer operable on the XBOX. You can, however, play compatible XBOX games on the 360 (and LIVE enabled compatible XBOX games).
HTH.
P.s. Yes, you go have to provide CC details for the renewal, however if you buy another, cheaper, boxed LIVE subscription (like this) and enter the details upon renewal, your CC will be refunded the full amount (£35/£40). This can take up to 60 days though.0 -
Sorry, I thought it was the case that you could use it still on both, as the person above seems to be doing
I must be wrong then0 -

Went straight to the tills and asked them to do a search for the code The code for em is 225861. - said that PC World had none so I asked them to check locally - Nottingham - and 2434 Currys Castle Marina was showing 8! HTH! Note - you end up with a box containing 12 month membership- 3 on-line demos and the x-box headset! - The 12months is meant for the old xbox but I can confirm that I have succesfully used the subscription straight to my xbox360 account!!A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

That information is wrong I think you'll find sir.
If you create a live account on an original xbox you can take it over to the 360 and still use it on the original xbox (although obviously one console logged in at a time to live)
What you cannot do is create a live account on a 360 and then try and use it on an original xbox - something to do with the way .net passports are tied in.

Apologies if I am wrong, I took this information from a message I saw onscreen whilst transferring my LIVE account from XBOX to XBOX360.0
