Just tried mine so - I can also confirm the code from Forza does work on a new xbox live account using an xbox 360 (and I've never had an xbox account before).

Just bought 2 copies of Forza and Live sub from TRU Solihull, got 2 years service and Forza x2 for the price of one year Cheers! BTW I also have only recently got an Xbox 360 and was on the month's free trial, both codes went in no problem.

Have you asked them if then can transfer one in from another branch? Or let you know where they have it in stock so you can go and collect it?

Alternatively when I looked there was only three 'cases' on the shelf but when I went to collect they had at least a dozen on the shelf, they also had about 10 Halo 2 + 12 month gold for £29.99 but nothing on the Xbox shelf to say this, just saw it when collecting the game, so might be worth asking them at the collection point?

Got a Forza one from Toysrus the other night - also bought a gaming bridge ( US Robotics )- recommended by someone on here) - now if only I could get it all to work.. 70 quid down and no xbox live! Just wasted a whole day .. no wonder they can't sell these things.
