Code failed on my 360 account, called Microsoft, and they claimed xbox live kits are NOT to be used on 360 - not compatible.

That can't be right. There are hundreds if not thousands of users who have been able to use such "kits" to pay for the subscription. It is interchangeable. I'd go back to Toys R Us and ask for an exchange (or a refund).

I'm currenlty running with a Halo 2 Xbox Live subscription and when that runs out I've got a Project Gotham 2 subscription to tag on.

Nonsense. I have used two so far (got them from PES and PGotham on Xbox packs) on 360s and they work fine.

Do you know you can 'top up' using these? You can add your PGR2 one to your current Halo one, giving you say, 15months left? You dont have to wait until your old one expires.. or so i've read on many forums..

Some of those who have used the codes successfully presumably already had Xbox live accounts for the older Xbox. Has anyone got the code to work setting up a new Xbox live account with a 360?
