Mobile dongle roaming
Hi,
Can anyone give me any advice? I used my T-Mobile dongle whilst in Portugal for 4 days last month and was horrified when I received my bill to see that a direct debit had been paid out to them for £2071.00
I have managed to speak to the bank and the DD was reversed as I hadn't enough money in my account anyway.
Can anyone advise what I can say to T-Mobile regarding this bill as it has been pointed out to me that this bill is correct because of roaming charges outside of UK.
I barely manage to live within my means now with the current economic situation and to find a bill of this amount instead of the normal £25 for unlimited use is worrying me to death.
I know I have been really stupid and just want to get out of this mess somehow !

They might let you pay it off over a few months, but that would be about it. If you've used the data you'll have to pay for it.
Btw, have you told T that the dd had been pulled back? If you haven't I'd get on the phone to billing asap and sort something out. They'll be far more helpful if you tell them rather than letting them find out when the chargeback hits their system. . .0 -
How much did you use the stick?!? Its £1.50 per mb within Europe, £7.50 per mb outside of europe, did you not check charges before taking it abroad? Talking to T-mobile would be best right now.~*Cerenia*~

Do you not check your bills??? Surely you would have know about the bill before they took it out of your bank?
Best course of action would be to call T-Mobile and see if they can waive any of the charges (not guaranteed, but you don't get if you don't ask) and set up a payment plan for the rest. They will suspend the service until the bill is cleared.0
