I suppose this is more a general SoG act question but it does refer to a mobile phone.
Wife got a new phone on a contract 8 months ago. Last week or two some of the keys have been playing up but now the screen is completely dead.
Under the SoG act, can we insist on a brand new replacement or does the supplier only have to repair?
Company is mobiles.co.uk BTW. Any idea if wife can take phone to CPW repair centre?

Hi Paul,
I'm fairly sure that it has to go back for repair 3 times before you can ask for a new one.
There maybe someone who can clarify though
It's not just about the money0 -

thats the case with vodafone, so probably 3 aren't that different
Although it's not a definate replacement after 3 repairs, it's discretionary apparently.
Though I find it's definately those that shout the loudest in these things when getting phones replaced0 -

My wife can shout dead loud !!!!! :-O0 -
When she gets another one tell her not to expect it to be as good as the first, that way she won't be disappointed!0
