Obviously travelling for 7 months I had to put a lot of leg work in and the best insurance company/deal that we found was with https://www.insureandgo.co.uk
My Mom also joined us in Hawaii for three weeks whilst we were out there and we sorted her insurance through these people aswell.
You will just need one policy if you go independant i.e, not through the company you are booking with. When you complete the insurance form it will ask where you are going and for how long etc.
It is usually cheaper to go through somebody independant. If you get to thinkin' you're a person of some influence, try orderin' someone else's dog around!0 -
Hi
We visited Las Vegas in October with Airtours. We booked about 3 months before we went and you could get two weeks for approx £700 each. This included flights, accommodation and transfers. The holiday was fantastic and the representative of the company couldn't do enough for us. The flight was also a direct flight from Manchester. You could upgrade to Premier Gold class for around £200 each extra. My niece got married there last year and she arranged flights and accommodation seperately. She paid a lot more than us for the same hotel. Also she didn't have the backup should anything have gone wrong.
As you say that you haven't travelled far before, i would recommend going on a package holiday. There are some good deals to be had if you time it right.
Also as I have said before you have the backup if something goes wrong. e.g. if flights are late or cancelled you get looked after. I would reccommend staying in a hotel on the strip.
We found Las Vegas great and hope to return next year. If you go enjoy yourself.0
