POP settings for Yahoo mail?

I have just set up a Yahoo email address for use on Freecycle and I'd like to use Outlook 2003 as my mail client rather than the webmail interface.
I am having trouble finding the correct settings though as to how to do this, can anyone point me in the right direction please? It's the basic Yahoo mail, not Yahoo Plus.

Thats rich charging $19.95 a year so you have a plus account so you can. Move to another email like Gmail and use that. would be my recommendation, I know its a hassel with telling everyone your new address, but I think worth it in the endSurvey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740

Yes I am already with Gmail and am very pleased with it, but to use Freecycle it seems you have to register with a Yahoo email address as the system runs under Yahoo Groups. Have tried the Gmail mail fetcher but it wouldn't work.0 -
I signed up to Freecycle and used with Thunderbird
pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk port 995 ssl
smtp.mail.co.uk port 465 ssl
And Outlook Express is same but also requires 'Server Authentication' to be selected.
ps I use Gmail to fetch it.Move along, nothing to see.0 -

Thanks for this info, I have tried the options but it still won't let me log on to the incoming mail server. Perhaps it's just that Outlook 2003 is not supported?0 -

I seem to recall that you have to create a Yahoo address to register with YG. But once you've created that, you can access the account and change the default notification address to whatever you want. All my Freecycle notifications go straight to my Googlemail address. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Great Idea Macman! I have set this forwarding lark up and it's working fine, many thanks. And thanks to the other guys who responded too.

It may not be active yet?I have just set up a Yahoo email address for use on Freecycle and I'd like to use Outlook 2003 as my mail client rather than the webmail interface.
Isn't there some some sort of validation required, to confirm things?
I can't really remember because it's a couple of years back that I signed up.
Ah well, all sorted I see.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
I signed up for Freecycle using a Yahoo email (years back), but have my messages delivered to a non-Yahoo email address, you just add your other email address on to the yahoo group and tell it to send them to that.
You can also forward yahoo email to another email account if you wish.
I just set up a non-Yahoo email for Freecycle and others for other groups and use them. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
