excuse me??? who is 'whinning'???? im asking a genuine question, there is no need to be so bloody rude, let alone bother to reply, my question was more of a case of has anyone had a reply after a complaint thats all, i was not whinning . nothing nice to say dont bother

    You are...that's who.
The bed was uncomfortable and you are looking for some recourse.
Why not tell them the room was the wrong colour or the window wasn't big enough aswell.

    It's almost cringe worthy.

Why did you wait until you got home?

Why not speak to the manager at the PI or housekeeping to see if anything could be done

PI probably haven't replied due to the pure inaneness of your complaint

So when it says a good nights sleep guaranteed this doesnt count right? thanks for your extremely helpful post:T

Are you referring to their " A good night or your money back policy"? ( I think you have to follow the procedure in the leaflet they give you). But with a policy like this I bet they get a lot of complaints.According to this they have won an award in 2004 and ensure any complaints are rigourously followed up...

I once booked into a hotel and was pointedly given the leaflet ,and told about their policy,it was a last minute booking. I complained that night because there was a problem with the water and heating and got a total refund. Not responding at all is not good practice.

thank you, at last someone who hasnt answered sarcastically. regardless the nature of my complaint, i got home to receive a satisfaction survey from PI, on it the 'good nights sleep guaranteed' logo, and went through the website to say well thanks but i hadnt, all i wanted to ask was if anyone got a reply from them, without the sarcastic comments

I wasn't being sarcastic; just trying to understand your complaint.

Again, you were there for 2 days; what did reception say when you complained [either in the middle of the first night, after the first night or in the middle of the second night]?

Again, my complaint wasnt the question, my question was did any one ever get a reply after complaining to PI. Again, i didnt complain as i dont particulary like to complain, saying that, when i received an email asking me, i thought id mention it, it was the lack of reply i was peeved about

I think your complaint is trivial but, accepting the fact that you disagree, what exactly are you hoping for from PI? The issue of bed firmness is subjective at best and I can't see what you hope to prove or gain by complaining.

You cannot prove that the bed was the cause of your bad back. These things are often caused by bad sitting posture or uncomfortable seating on e.g. trains or aeroplanes and may take some time to show up.

PI's lack of response to your e-mails is somewhat rude but to answer your last question, I'd say you were wasting your time on this one.

Well as i have said many times before, it doesnt matter what my complaint was about, it was the fact id not received a reply, and heres an update for all the sarcastic comments that was given, PI have now refunded me my money due not a bads night sleep and more so the fact they were embarrassed with their customer service online.
