yes could probably get someone with broadband to download to disk if i know what to ask to download.
do i delete the ticked items on hippo scan?
should i still run the bleeping computer or not?
is there a way of disabling outlook express at the mo? - hundreds of copies appeared and now all emails in inbox for last 18months have disappeared , a couple hundred have appeared in deleted folder and the others have disappeared. it's still trying to download .0 -

just tried sytem restore, but email still malfunctioning. i've found an email the prob seems to have started with - displays like this

try logging onto webmail via
www.btinternet.com
rather than outlook express , then delete all the rubbish emails without downloading them
if possible go to a friends and log on there via their broadband connectionEx forum ambassador
