Paypal is safer than using a debit card but less safe than a credit card for off ebay sales. You have full seller protection against non arrival of goods but off ebay you don't have full protection if goods etc are not as described. frankly that seems unlikely for airline tickets. The only other thing is that for non ebay claims the seller/vendor must have funds available in cases of dispute..so not a good payment method if you think you may be dealing with a con artist. Also you only have a 45 day window in which to make anyc laims, anything after that date and you are on your own.
To be safer register a paypal account and make your default payment option for the tickets from a credit card, then you have more protection.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. excuse me.
firstly i told the poster to check feedback on paypal herself.
if you havent had a problem thats great.
because you havent does that mean millions havent.fool.
paypal payments are safe.paypal is the problem.they would be the ones to act wrongly/illegaly when there is a problem.
although to be fair most immproper actions by them would be connected to ebay, who own them, nice monopoly.
do your homework fool.
or you could just call everyone a liar.littlewoods/littlewoods direct/marshall ward/kays/greatuniversal/empire stores/addittions/grattans/next/ambrose wilson.barclay card/cap1/bos/vanquis gold/vodafone/3 .dell finance/currys finance

I've never had a problem with PayPal, found them to be very efficient and courteous at all times.0

Rememeber however you will be using a 'third party payment provider' so you might run into difficulty should you need to chargeback the transaction, say, if the company goes bust. Your card provider will distance themselves quickly when you have used Paypal as they are not responsible for the 'second leg' of the purchase.
Never had to dispute anything with Paypal but they are a nightmare to get information from (in my professional life!)These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!
I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!0 -

"Loose ?"
It is true - they are a nightmare to communicate with. Extremely much so, in fact.
They are safe to deal with, if it does take a while to get registered, though...0 -
Paypal are great until you have an issue as VM says. They are a nightmare when you do.0
-
Safe - yes, they are very good with privacy.
The issue is being a Third Party Payment provider, you lose some of the benefits of Credit Card protection, however this is very true of others such as Netbanx etc etc...These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!
